International Yoga Day celebrations with seniors

Yoga means UNION in the ancient Sanskrit language. Yoga is a life style management system. The aim is to promote harmonious development in every aspect of the individual to balance with all. Yoga is basically to realize and experience union of joining of individual consciousness to the universal consciousness. Yoga is a perfect description of the science and philosophy to join Body & Mind.
Following this initial proposal, by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his UN address, the UNGA drafted resolution entitled “International Day of Yoga”, on 14 October 2014. For the promotion of global health, harmony and peace the world celebrate International Yoga Day on June 21, every year.
The ParamCARE Foundation celebrated International Yoga Day with seniors on Friday, June 21, 2019, at 60 E Hanover Avenue, Morris Plains, NJ.
Mr. Vipul Amin-The President of the ParamCARE Foundation always plays the lead role for the promotion of holistic health and Wellness, particularly for the seniors. According to him Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice, an invaluable gift to the world from India. Yoga beautiful because it is ancient yet modern. Yoga embodies the unity of harmony between man and nature, mind and body, thought and action, restraint and fulfillment, and holistic approach to health and well-being. Yoga is not about doing exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and nature. Yoga can provide the perfect solution to the problems, what we face in day-to-day’s life, either at individual level or in the society. Yoga is not the name of any specific religion but the way to lead a contented life.
During welcome speech, Mr. Vipul Amin-President of Param Care Foundation explained that human body is just not physical body but has mind, intelligence, emotion, instinct, intuition. And holistic health is a diverse field by which many technics and therapies including yoga are used to treat person as whole unlike the different part in modern system of medicine.
Along with Ms. Bhruna Amin – Director ParamCARE Foundation a large number of seniors learned and practiced various poses of Yoga with yoga counselors. They thanked ParamCARE Foundation for doing wonderful and very useful wellness event for the wellbeing of the seniors.

ParamCARE Foundation sponsored and supported the cancer awareness and the fund raising event, the 11th Annual Pancreatic Cancer 5k Run for the Cure & Cancer Awareness Walk, organized by the Regional Chronic Disease Coalition, Middlesex County Office of Health Services, Department of Public Safety and Health, New Jersey, on Saturday, June 15, 2019, in Roosevelt Park, Edison, organized by the Office of Health Services, County of Middlesex, New Jersey.
ParamCare Foundation had been gracious enough to have a table to showcase the events, services related to programs. Large number of people were participated in Cancer Awareness Walk Event. The team of Param Care Foundation, had explained about the supportive role of Ayurveda, Yoga & other alternative therapies for the treatment of Cancer & Chronic Diseases
At the end of an event Mr. Ronald G Rios Free Holder Director and Mr. Lester Jones, Director-Middlesex County Health Officer, thanked Mr. Vipul Amin- President, ParamCARE Foundation for the continuously supporting for more than 10 years all the outreach activities of the Middlesex County.

The President Mr. Vipul Amin always stresses on the health quality of the senior citizens He says that healthier, happier, active and longer life of the senior people can be ensured by providing healthy environments, healthy life styles and holistic health care.
It’s now proved that the Yoga embodies the unity of harmony between man and nature mind and body that is thought and action, restraint and fulfillment, a holistic approach to health and well-being. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and nature.
We have observed that the strong social support is one of the keys to happiness and good health for seniors. Keeping in mind the problems of senior citizens, related to their Physical, Mental, Social & Spiritual health, and to improve social relationships among the people, ParamCARE Foundation Conducted Wellness Outreach educational and awareness program – Yoga a Holistic Approach for Health and Wellness, at Merril Park, Iselin NJ., on Friday, June 14, 2019.
Along with Mrs. Bhruna Amin- Director of Param Care Foundation, along with the diligent team of ParamCARE Foundation & more than 100 seniors participated in the program. Seniors thanked Param Care Foundation for providing valuable information about adopting yoga as a part of regular and routine holistic life style for the health.
