International Yoga Event
The UN headquarters in New York lit up with the word ‘Yoga’ for International Yoga Day 2017. This is the second consecutive year that the UN headquarters is celebrating the event. Over 180 countries will participate in International Yoga Day 2017, being celebrated on Wednesday June 21.
Param Care Foundation celebrated International Yoga Event with large gatherings, on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Param Adult Day Care Center, 60 E Hanover Ave., Morris Plains.
During welcome speech, Mr. Vipul Amin-President of Param Care Foundation explained that human body is just not physical body but has mind, intelligence, emotion, instinct, intuition. And holistic health is a diverse field by which many technics and therapies including yoga are used to treat person as whole unlike the different part in modern system of medicine.
Mr. Vipul Amin also mentioned that “Yoga” means UNION in the ancient Sanskrit language. Yoga is a life style management system. The aim is to promote harmonious development in every aspect of the individual to balance with all. Yoga is basically to realize and experience union of joining of individual consciousness to the universal consciousness. Yoga is a perfect description of the science and philosophy to join Body & Mind.
People learned and practiced various poses of yogmudras they enjoyed about two hours of yoga sessions with yoga expert and thanked Param Care Foundation for doing very useful events for the wellbeing of the community.

New Jersey is the densely populated with about 30% of the population speaking other than English language at home because of diversity of population. To spread our mission, we had organized cultural event with very very famous writer & speaker Ms. Kajal Oza Vaidya at Param Adult Day Care Center, Morris plain, NJ. On June 13, 2017 Mr. Prashant Vaidya- Asst. Director, welcomed the Guest Speaker & audience and explained about the importance of cultural program, native Gujarati language and contribution of Ms. Kajal Oza Vaidya.
Vast numbers of seniors were present and enjoyed an event. They thanked Param Care Foundation for organizing an encouraging event in native (Gujarati) language, in America. Mr. Vipul Amin-President of Param Care Foundation thanked the Guest Speaker and audience with amazing concluding speech.

Param Care Foundation participated and supported the 9th Annual Pancreatic Cancer 5k Run and Cancer Awareness Walk, on June 10, 2017, in Roosevelt Park, Edison, organized by the Office of Health Services, County of Middlesex, New Jersey.
ParamCare Foundation had been gracious enough to have a table to showcase the events, services related to programs. About 250 people were participated in Cancer Awareness Walk Event.
At the end of an event Mr. Lester Jones, Director-Middlesex County Health Officer, thanked Param Care Foundation for nonstop support for all the activities of the Middlesex County. On invitation, by the Director, Mr. Vipul Amin- President, Param Care Foundation, delivered very encouraging speech and explained about the supportive role of Ayurveda, Yoga & other alternative therapies for the treatment of Cancer & Chronic Diseases. He reminded the people about the contribution of Param Care Foundation for the service of patients suffering from cancer & other chronic disease. He also promised that Param Care Foundation shall always associate with any noble cause of Middlesex County.

Param CARE Foundation Conducted Wellness Outreach Activity- Holistic Approach for Health and Healthy Life style, at Seniors Apartments, Parsippany, NJ.

Keeping in mind the problems of senior citizens related to their Physical, Mental, Social & Spiritual health, Param Care Foundation conducted educational and awareness program ‘Wellness Outreach Activity- Holistic Approach for Health and Healthy Life style, on June 01, 2017 between 3:00 P.M – 5:00 P.M. at Seniors Apartments, Parsippany, NJ.
After welcome speech delivered by philanthropic president Mr. Vipul Amin explained that since the establishments, mission of the Param CARE Foundation is to work for communities by working with communities for wellbeing of the people, physically, mentally and socially. Mr. Vipul Amin stressed on the health quality of the senior citizens He said that healthier, happier, active and longer life of the senior people can be ensured by providing healthy environments, healthy life styles and holistic health care. He remind about the outreach activities and facilities available for senior citizens, through Param Care Foundation and Param Group of Company. He acknowledged about the importance of Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP), Falls Preventive Exercise Program & Holistic Approach for Health, Ayurveda and disease prevention. He explained that holistic lifestyle gives you the opportunity to be in charge of your health. This was followed by the presentation on ‘Daily Routine & Holistic Lifestyle’ by our experienced team of doctors. Param Care foundation moves in the direction of taking care of people life, health in a deeper level. The Vote of thanks has been given by President Shri Vipul Amin followed by Holistic Food as Refreshment for all.
Along with Mrs. Bhruna Amin- Director of Param Care Foundation, diligent team of PCF & more than 80 seniors participated in the program. Seniors thanked Param Care Foundation for providing valuable information about life style and disease related to the seniors and usefulness of Holistic Approach.

Hence to enhance the health quality and literacy, we outreach the people through our educational & awareness seminars / workshops on health, disease and healthy life style.
To add on our mission, we are conducting evidence based falls preventive exercise program for preventing falls in older people, on every Thursday between 11:00- 1:00 P.M. at PADC, 60 E Hanover Ave. Morris Plain NJ.
Falls result in physical, psychological, social and financial burden for the injured person, family, caregivers, social services, healthcare agencies and the country.
According to the CDC data each year, 2.5 million older people are treated in emergency departments for fall injuries Over 700,000 patients a year are hospitalized because of a head injury or hip fracture. The direct medical costs for fall injuries are $34 billion annually.
The CDC have developed evidence-based fall prevention programs that can improve strength, flexibility, balance and reaction time which are considered the most readily modifiable risk factors for falls. It is observed that Falls Rate can be reduced by 30 % with this program.
About 35 seniors took part on falls preventive exercise program conducted on May 11, 2017.
