Survey Research Study on cancer screening for South Asian Adults
This study is being conducted by researchers of Rutgers cancer Institute of New Jersey.

Param CARE Foundation has organized event in partnership with Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. This study is being done to understand why South Asian men and women complete cancer screenings, and why some South Asians might not complete screenings. This survey event goal would be on study to understand why South Asian men and women complete cancer screening and why some South Asian might not complete screening.

Chronic Disease Self Managment Workshop

ParamCARE Foundation organized the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program for South Asians in partnership with the Middlesex County Office of Health Services, every Tuesday from August 5 to September 9, 2014. The workshop was attended by individuals who actually had one or more chronic diseases or their care givers.
The participants were educated on management of Nutrition, physical activity, medications, and strategies for problem solving, making action plans that are feasible, decision making, and effective communication with health care providers and also about evaluation of treatment, all based on Stanford model of Chronic Disease Self-management Program.
